What Hauler Hero is
Hauler Hero (founded 2020, New York) is the best-funded newcomer in hauling software — a $16M Series A in February 2026, over $27M raised, and a claimed 250+ hauler customers across residential, commercial, and roll-off. It ships billing with a customer portal and stored card/ACH autopay, drag-and-drop dispatch, a driver app, scale-house integration, and a growing set of AI features for dispatch and customer service. If you're building toward a multi-line fleet with commercial and roll-off work, it belongs on your list.
Where the two part ways
- Who it's sized for. Hauler Hero scales from independents to municipalities, and the product carries that breadth. TrashMinder is deliberately for the 1–10 truck independent running residential routes — every screen assumes an owner who also drives.
- Signed agreements. TrashMinder customers e-sign your service agreement during online signup, and the signed PDF files itself; update your agreement and existing signatures stay intact. As of July 2026 we can find no e-signed service agreement feature advertised anywhere in Hauler Hero's materials.
- Whose website your customers see — and who builds it. TrashMinder builds your company's custom website and customer portal for you, to your design choices and branding, on your own domain — and the build is included in the price. Hauler Hero offers hosted signup pages, with fuller online-signup websites available through its partnership with TrashBolt — a second product.
- How you find out the price. Hauler Hero publishes no pricing — no pricing page, and review sites list it as contact-the-vendor with no free trial. Ours is printed right here: starting at $49 a month plus a one-time setup fee.
- Track record, in public. Hauler Hero's public review base is thin — six Capterra reviews (4.2/5 as of July 2026). Those few include real praise, but also a reviewer held to the remainder of an annual contract after selling their business, and features promised on a timeline that slipped by a year. Small sample; read them yourself before you sign anything annual.

Which should you pick?
Hauler Hero fits if
- You run (or are building) commercial and roll-off lines alongside residential
- You want AI dispatch features and scale-house integration
- A vendor with $27M+ in funding matters to your buying committee
TrashMinder fits if
- You're an independent running residential routes and want one product that covers signup through payout
- E-signed agreements matter on day one, and you'd rather we build your branded site for you — included — than manage a second product for it
- You want a straight price and a monthly commitment, not an annual contract after a demo
