It handles billing, route management, and container tracking, with online payments through its TrashBilling add-on. Nobody switches away from Trash Flow because it doesn't work.
Why haulers go looking anyway
The pattern in its own (positive) reviews and its published materials points at four things:
- It's desktop software you buy outright. Published license pricing runs $1,537 (Lite) to $3,074 (Base) to $6,598.50 (Plus) as a one-time purchase, and even happy reviewers say the program shows its age on screen.
- Customers can't sign themselves up. There's no branded customer website, no online self-signup, and no e-signed service agreement — new customers still come in by phone and paperwork.
- Payments run through TrashBilling.com — a separate pay portal where your customers log in with a 12-digit ID, and the name on their bank statement is TrashBilling, not your company. Enough end-customers are confused by that descriptor that "is trashbilling.com a legit charge" articles exist to reassure them.
- Routing is functional, not map-first. Reviewers themselves note route optimization could be improved.
