What TrashBolt is
TrashBolt deserves credit for proving this category: it calls itself the #1 waste hauler software for online signup, and its suite — 24/7 online signup, customer notifications, a sales-entry system for CSRs, lead management, and a customer service portal — is genuinely focused on getting haulers new customers online. It's built by waste-industry veterans and it's established enough that Soft-Pak and Hauler Hero both advertise partnerships with it.
The part the tagline skips
Those partnerships are the tell: TrashBolt is the front door. Its materials describe syncing with your existing customer database and billing system, because the operational spine — the billing engine, route management, and a driver app — lives in a separate product. As of July 2026 we find no routing, no driver app, and no billing engine of TrashBolt's own advertised anywhere; no e-signed service agreements either. And no published pricing — for TrashBolt or for the back-office systems it pairs with.
So the realistic TrashBolt setup for an independent hauler is two vendors, two unpublished prices, and an integration between them — TrashBolt out front, Soft-Pak or Hauler Hero behind it.
